Tampa Bay has a little bit of everything this weekend, but the best choices depend on what kind of night you're after. St. Pete has DJs playing well past midnight, country moves between solo sets and full bands, and several restaurants make live music part of the dinner plan. There are even DJ sets worth catching before dark.
The night doesn't end at 11 in St. Pete. Disco, hip-hop and open-format DJs take over the late starts, while Tampa keeps things running until 1 AM. There's even a full-band alternative for Saturday.
Friday
Saturday
Country doesn't come in just one format this weekend. Solo sets mix in pop and classic rock across Tampa and Plant City, while St. Pete brings the full band into the late hours.
Sunday
Good music doesn't always need to be the whole night. These are the places to make dinner part of the plan, with everything from pop and classic rock to indie folk, funk, and bossa nova playing alongside it.
Not every DJ set requires a late night. Saturday starts with tech house before lunch, moves into house at noon and brings open format to St. Pete by 4 PM. Sunday gets going early too.
