Top Acoustic Artists Joe Hite logged 15 gigs in July, all of it split between Forbici Modern Italian and Union New American. That's close to four nights a week between two rooms, which is less a residency than a second job. No detours, no filler dates. Just a guy who knows where his crowd sits and shows up for it. Eric Yoder took 12 gigs across three rooms, adding Sonder Social Club into his usual Forbici rotation. Evan Koteles split 8 gigs between the Tampa and St. Pete Forbici locations, proof the format travels well across the bay. Juanita Collins and Ken Apperson tied at 7 gigs apiece, both working the same two-room circuit that's clearly become the acoustic proving ground this summer. Top Bands Daniel B. Marshall topped the band chart with 3 gigs, all at Forbici Modern Italian St Pete. It's a small number by acoustic standards, but Marshall's the rare act working both sides of this leaderboard, picking up solo dates elsewhere while anchoring a full band slot at Forbici. That kind of range is what separates a player from a project. Ken Apperson matched him with 3 gigs at the same St. Pete room. Clayton Mann and Emmet Stevens Jr each landed 2 nights at Welcome to The Farm, which is fast becoming the room for full-band sets on that side of the bay. Hot Club SRQ brought its 2 gigs to Boulon Brasserie, the lone band act to make the list somewhere other than Forbici or The Farm. Top DJs Bohav ran away with July, 18 gigs split between Welcome to The Farm and Good Night John Boy St. Pete. That's more than four sets a week without ever leaving those two rooms. When a booker needs a night to fill fast, this is the name that gets called, and the two-venue focus shows exactly how a DJ builds a following without spreading thin. DJ AYESIK covered the most ground of anyone, 14 gigs across four venues including Trailer Daddy and My Rich Uncle. DJ Dexan matched the gig count at 14 but stayed tighter, working three rooms in the same St. Pete cluster. Davy Rolando and Dj Rollin rounded out the top five with 11 gigs each, both leaning on the Farm-to-Trailer Daddy pipeline that's defined this scene all summer. July's numbers make one thing clear: the venues that book consistently are the ones building these rankings, night after night.
